Mary Ann: I wrote an entire book, called The Physics of NASCAR, which should be available in your local library that has the information your grandson probably needs. If he has specific questions after he’s read that, I’d be happy to answer them.
My grandson,11 years old is working on a science progect. His whole life is nascar. He tells me the wings on the back of the car help hold the car down so it can go faster. This is the basis of his science project. Could you give Christian some information ( & grandma too) on this? I think there are other parts that make a car go faster, Any help on what makes the car go faster would be appreciated. He loves Jimmie Johnson, Lowe’s car. Maybe illustrations, drawings ect… I know Christian would appreciate this. Thank You. Grandma on behalf of Christian
