Diandra Leslie-Pelecky

A magnetician by training, her research at the University of Texas at Dallas has as its goals improving magnetic resonance imaging abilities and developing cancer treatments that are effective, but without the debilitating effects of present-day chemotherapy. Dr. Leslie-Pelecky is also recognized for her work in outreach to K-12 schools and the general public. and is the author of a popular science book, The Physics of NASCAR and her motorsports blog Stockcar Science.

David Royster

David Royster

is the Director of the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. His interests are the use of computers in the teaching of mathematics, computer algebra systems, and dynamic geometry systems; the mathematical preparation of teachers; and effective professional development of in-service STEM teachers at all levels.

Molly Fisher (University of North Carolina - Charlotte)

Molly Fisher is a PhD candidate in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She will graduate in August 2009 with a specialization in Mathematics Education. This fall, she will be an assistant professor of Mathematics Education at the University of Kentucky. Her research interests include the stress and burnout of teachers, teacher retention, and professional development of Mathematics teachers.
