Science for Race Fans

Students aren't the only ones who can learn about the science of motorsports. In conjunction with the Teacher Academies, we will work with informal science education outlets to bring science to race fans. Fans will have a chance to see what a 500 pound-per inch spring actually feels like, what a piston looks like after the heat of combustion gone awry has burned through it, and how SAFER barriers actually work.
